Filmify analyzes public Letterboxd profiles to create a movie taste report and playlist match. We do not ask for your Letterboxd password or connect to your Spotify account.

Information We Use

When you enter a Letterboxd username or profile URL, Filmify reads publicly available profile details, favorite films, ratings, watch activity, and visible film history for that account.

How It Is Used

That public movie data is used to generate your Filmify report, movie recommendations, share cards, and a matched Spotify playlist link. We also use movie metadata from third-party movie databases to improve recommendations and posters.

Accounts And Passwords

Filmify does not request, collect, or store Letterboxd passwords. Visitors do not sign in with Spotify, and Filmify does not receive visitor Spotify tokens or account access.

Storage And Sharing

Generated results may be kept in your browser while you use the app so cards can be previewed, saved, or shared. Filmify does not post anything on your behalf; you choose what to download, copy, or share.

Data Sales And Advertising

Filmify does not sell the Letterboxd usernames you enter or use them for targeted advertising.

Your Control

Only public Letterboxd information can be analyzed. To limit what Filmify can read, update your Letterboxd privacy settings or avoid entering usernames you do not want analyzed.
